Swank Wedding Show

Single or taken, If you haven’t been to a wedding show yet, you should definitely try one soon! I was super excited to attend the Swank Wedding Show, at Vancouver's Art Gallery, late February. As this event was my very first wedding show to go to, I decided to stick to my absolute favorite open shoulder “black dress,” (which I am sure every woman owns one in their wardrobe! ) which I purchased from ZARA. If you have been following my articles until today, you in fact know that my way of styling includes textures & patterns, alongside with bold, and bright colours. I knew ahead of time that I will be attending another event right after the wedding show. This thought led me through my final decision. I decided to go for an easy, and comfortable outfit. At this point, wearing a pitch black dress can do the work. Right ladies?

I am a woman of colours! Colouring my life is what I live FOR! In fact, psychologically, not only colours affect your thoughts, they also effect the thoughts of the person you are communicating with. Each colour helps one to get to know you and your personality better. It also helps you to have an enjoyable conversation with friends, family, and business partners. Black is a one sophisticated colour. Wearing it never fails as long as you style yourself with proper accessories.

This event was filled with love, couples, and a very stylish crowd. After your photo was taken by a professional photographer at the media wall, you had a chance to go around and have a preview of businesses which can guid you through your decisions when it comes to planning your special day. From live painters of Fire-Bird Live Art, and the live classical background music by Musical Occasions, to wine tastings from Mary Zilba's LOVE sparkling wine collection and Desert Hills Estate Winery, food tastings, wedding decorations, cake designers, jewelry designers, and couture fashion designers, professional videographers and photographers! See it for yourself ( Click on the photos for a clearer visual! ) !

Two different wedding lifestyles were presented to the crowd. One very westernized, by Clara Couture, and the other very Indian, by Bombay Couture. It was astonishing to watch two individual cultures and their way of celebration happening in one special evening. One collection consisted of one colour ( white ), with very elegant cuttings and layerings, including details of lace, and bidding. On the other hand, the other collection was very colourful along with amazing bidding and textures, and lots of glitter.

This event has introduced art, and the beauty of each culture, successfully, to our community. The crowd was filled with enthusiasm, and blown away by the beauty of each gown and each designer’s creativity. Not to mention, each female model was escorted down to the runway by two gentlemen wearing costume made suiting by BRAVOecho Custom Suited. ( Click on the photos for a clearer visual ! )
