ONE SWEATER, THREE DIFFERENT LOOKS
Like me, If you are very excited about the Winter season, you might also be worried of your daily wardrobe selections at the time being.
As Fall and Winter seasons come along, the prices of good quality sweaters and cardigans go up. I also found it very challenging for many ladies to style their outfits with their favorite knitwear. The challenge starts from the point where you want to wear the same sweater or cardigan, many times, to different occasions. To a day at the office, a casual day out with friends, and to your very special event.
This article can be your favorite styling guide. REMINDER: You don't have to spend alot of money over multiple sweaters, just to satisfy your wardrobe needs. Sweaters can be your signiture pieces of your wardrobe during fall and winter season, if you know how to properly style them. In this article, I am sticking to one sweater only. You will be taught of ways of getting the most out of wearing your favorite sweater!
I decided to stick to my favorite grey J.Crew sweater for two main reasons: it is easier for ladies to style themselves in this color, and also, to discover how effortless it is for them to find a grey sweater in every store they step into.
Lets start with our casual look.
WHO SHE IS: wherever she goes ( from her study days to a casual meet up with friends ), our casual girl is a girl who likes to stay comfortable in her outfit 24/7. She likes to add a classic touch to her look, just incase if she had to be present in a last-minute meeting.
WHAT SHE WEARS: Jeans and denims are her bestfriends. She doesn't mind to wear "tights" and "leggings " either. She doesn't like to wear "all grey" everyday, so she finishes her outfit with colorful pieces, like scarfs, footwear (high heels & boots) , and jewelry statements.
MAKEUP: Natural everyday makeup - Red to Dark colored lipsticks for a more bold, romantic, and chic look.
LOCATION: Lounge/Bar - A friendly gathering at her friend's - Date Nights - A casual day out (Don't forget your boots with this look.)
OUR SUGGESTIONS:
- Jewelry: Any kind of bold jewelry pieces would work. Necklaces are not your favorite go to? What do you think of bold or shiny bracelates? For a more classic look, long-length necklaces, or small jewelry pieces such as pearl earings or diamond earings will definitely work with this look.
- Ankle boots and High-Knee boots (With Heels / No Heels) for a casual look for some edginess. I decided to go for my Red ZARA Basic pumps to add more color, and to bring more attention to my outfit. Up next is our office look.
WHO SHE IS: She is a workaholic. A very stylish one! She likes to keep up with trends, and she wants to look feminine, sophisticated, and comfortable at her workplace, at the same time.
WHAT SHE WEARS: Nothing too crazy for work, but she does like her small jewelry pieces. Long-length pendant or station necklaces, and small pieces of earings are always her go to. She likes to play with her wardrobe and doesn't mind wearing pencil skirts or dress-pants to work. Her pumps and her ballet flats are her bestfriends.
MAKEUP: Natural everyday makeup.
LOCATION: Office environment.
OUR SUGGESTIONS:
- If it is raining, Leather Ankle boots are her go to. She carries her ballet flats/pumps with herself most of the time, incase if she has a change of heart with her boots, or if she wants to feel more comfortable in her shoes.
- Don't forget to wear your leggings, stockings, or tights to keep yourself extra warm. You should be able to wear them with all your footwear selections (high heels, boots and flats.)

I wanted to go a little bit crazy with this look. My hairstyle inspiration comes from celebrities Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, who I have seen them in this classic and chic hairstyle manytimes. Bold makeup and long earings? They can be a good combo! This is how my look turned out.
WHO SHE IS: She is a fashionista and loves to go bold. She gets the crowd's attention without any effort. She loves challenges. She is a strong-minded and daring woman who doesn't mind to try out colors, various styles, and outfits. She is always a surprise, and likes to play with her outfits.
WHAT SHE WEARS: Colors, and more colors! Dark color attire are not her wardrobe classic pieces all the time. She is bold, and bright. She loves her jewelry statements. Specially her shiny looking ones!
LOCATION: SEMI-FORMAL & FORMAL EVENTS.
MAKEUP: Decisions should be made upon your skin tone, and the color of your outfit. I decided to go for a bold, and a very fun lipstick colour (purple) that I thought it could be fun to wear with this outfit.
OUR SUGGESTIONS:
- Wear your favorite colored skirts ( puffy ballet skirts - pencil skirts - flowy skirts ) with your sweaters.
- Don't forget your favorite clutch!

I'm sure many of you have noticed that I happen to be a ZARA, and a J.CREW girl. I usually shop at ZARA due to every item's modernity and affordability. I also choose J.CREW as my favorite shopping area, because this brand is all about colors. I feel more energetic after seeing women & men in colors. Don't you? I sometimes feel women tend to be more shy in expressing themselves in colors than men.
" Never forget that you are the best version of your body and your soul,. you are able to teach everyone a little bit about yourself by the way you dress up. Do not make yourself limited because you think that "fitting in" is better than "being who you are." Be brave, and express yourself. In other words, get to know yourself a little better EVERYDAY. "
