THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS GALA

The Little Black Dress Gala is a non-profit organization by Help Change My City (HCMC) Alliance, that gathers the most stylish and warm hearted individuals together twice a year, for a supportive, and an amazing night to remember. Their aim is to build up a platform where youth and young artists such as fashion designers, singers, ( the list goes on ) can be a part of, and be taught about "self development skills."

It was an amazing night at Vancouver Art Gallery! The night was filled with corporate responsibles, and amazing individuals who were hoping to GIVE BACK to the community. Wine glasses were clinking, various dishes of delicious looking and tasty finger foods were being served around the hall, and stylish individuals were mingling aroud in their beautiful black dresses. When it comes to wearing Black, many will think of a boring color that is not meaningful to fashion and styling industry at all, but seeing all the beautiful crowd dressing up in their black dresses and suits, will surely change your mind! Black is certainly a unique, and a beautiful color, that if it is matched with proper colors of clothing, makeup, and accessories, it will definitely show its true beauty, and colors!

The plan for our local emerging fashion designers was to showcase their collections, while live music was being played in the background. ( From a talented teenager who was playing violin, and a live band, to an Opera singer, and a Jazz singer. )
